Carole Hooper

I am married with two daughters, a foster daughter, a stepson, and two grandchildren who all keep me very busy.

I work at Torbay Hospital in the abdominal aortic aneurysm screening service.

I used to work as a radiotherapy radiographer with Steve Dann in the oncology department.  He asked me to be a trustee of this group when he was starting it up.  I was very happy to take it on and still enjoy all that I do with the group.  Unfortunately Steve moved on to pastures new quite a few years ago.  The group however has continued and flourished.  Thanks to donations we have been able to fund new equipment for prostate cancer treatment in radiotherapy, improvements in outpatients urology clinics, and patient aids on Cromie ward.

Along with all the other trustees, I strive to help improve the journey of the prostate cancer patient, and the support that they and their families receive along the way.
