I am married and live in Paignton with my wife; I have one son, one daughter and six grandchildren. I am a retired Bank Manager (FCIB) and former President of The Torbay Institute of Bankers.

I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 1999 and been on treatment ever since.
I decided to become a Trustee to enable me to return some good that I was given during my bad times.

I was an England Schoolboy Rugby International, played for the Bristol RFC and have enjoyed playing many other sports including badminton, cricket and green bowls. I have also umpired hockey for over 20 years.

Charity & Voluntary Work has included:
a) Treasurer or Chairman Torbay Lifeboat Station -20 years
b) Currently Chairman Torbay Prostate Support Association (formerly Treasurer)
c) Currently a Trustee of Chestnut Appeal Fund
d) Formerly member of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme  (South Glos.
e) Member of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Avon County
       f) Member of both Rotary and Probus Clubs
