Diagnosed - Now What?

Once diagnosed it is important to understand the treatment options that are available. The team of medical professionals and support staff are committed to helping men along every step of the journey. The staff will guide men through the various treatment options available.

It should be remembered that not all the options mentioned here may be available at your hospital, and that  not all treatments are appropriate for your condition.

Treating the physical symptoms of prostate cancer or prostate related disease is only part of the recovery process. The TPSA is equipped to give patients and their families, and carers, the information and support they need to overcome stress of diagnosis and treatment.

The TPSA uses this web site and our meetings (see ‘What we do’) to update news on prostate related diseases, so that our members and other visitors to our web site, can stay informed of any new developments in research and treatment.
